Every year end if is always so amazing to remember the year with all the wonderful clients that hired us to create images for them for whatever purposes....It is a joy for us to be able to do what we do. 

This past year was really different for us...

We moved to be in Las Vegas full time and we brought my Father (100 on May 1oth) to live with us so we could care for him in this time of his life!

Soooooo We moved from LA to LV, and renovated an amazing condo/studio and all cuddled in to our new shooting space and new town and new life..We got ready for 2020 and now are all set up and ready to go. irt was for sure a huge adjustment moving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas after being in LA for the past 18 years of wonderful memories and friends to Las Vegas a very different town from our Beverly Hills :))))))

BUT we are here and ready to rumble.....

My Father is thriving in his new home and I now eat alot of donuts and go gambling a fair bit too in between shooting my girls in Lingerie and doing a few weddings and portraits and special projects....

Las Vegas as you can imagine is a lot racier than LA which surprised me but true. I guess since what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas makes it the kind of town do all those wonderfully naughty little dreams come true!!!!

Whenever the Holiday season is upon us I always get really sentimental and this time of year are my favorite shoot times....WHY you ask! Because it is the time of giving and I love giving and I love seeing others giving and trying to make other people happy including themselves....Even though I am a nice Jewish girl I have always LOVED Christmas and the idea of the love and sharing and caring always warms my heart....When I was a little girl I always looked out my window to try to see Santa in his flying carriage in the sky before I went to bed like so many children BUT I always knew he was not coming to my house....That was I must admit a real bummer so when I grew up I adopted as so many little Jewish girls did the idea of having Christmas and St. Nick all for me too....

LOL I certainly got off on a tangent and into my thought processes and childhood stuff...Not meant to be sad....I am so off the subject of Christmas and the season to make sexy, fabulous photos for yourself and your honey!!!

My opinion as a photographer is to look for a few things; first, choose photographers that are great at what they do! Is it a passion for them? Do they love women from what you can gather on their website, from what they write about and express?

Second and very important, look at the photographer's skill set. Are they doing a lot of Photoshop?  Do they know how to light their sessions and be creative? There are a lot of photographers that "kind of shoot" very predicable shots and the lighting is not well thought out let alone skilled.

We obsess about lighting all the time. We're known for it. Though I'm a woman, I would rather be in a camera lighting store than at the jewelry store at Neiman Marcus! I really mean it. Because setting mood with lights is my passion. My husband of course loves that about me!

Study who you are going to have this intimate experience with: Look up reviews, read them, understand them. Are the reviews basic? "So and So was great…" or, do they go into details about the day and the connection between them as the client and the photographer?  You need to look for those photographers who can build a good connection with their clients. That is what you want and truly need from your boudoir photographer!
